１.１「つっこむ」 :Tsukkomi
Tsukkomi (ツッコミ) is a keyword which is essential of Japanese culture. This is originated in Osaka.
a Boke vs.a Tsukkomi is a pair.
a Boke is to do something funny.(pretend as if you were gone mad.)
and
a Tsukkomi is to react the Boke.
You can sort Tsukkomies to three types.
１．１．１. Express a Boke in a different words so that audience can understand a Boke
１．１．２．Flatter what a friend who do a Boke says.
１．１．３．Attack what a friend who do a Boke says.
（BUT! you have to notice that it's not right that you just say "It's not funny ! ",a Tsukkomi . It's just your impression. To say what you feel without cosindering is not "a Tsukkomi" . REAL "a Tsukkomi" always raises a laugh. )

「come out what you feel embarrassed for」
If you come out what you feel embrrassed for,your friends tend to feel familiar with you,and you too do with them.One stone and two birds technique.
What you come out has 2 types:Embarrasing episodes and Embarrassing thought.
e.g.1.．
Kiefer Sutherland is good at cooking .Especially his chicken dish is perfect .As a matter of fact, he can cook well because of poverty.
He invited his colleague,George Bush to lunch.
George：「Wow,this chicken is great.You are an cooking expert!.......well but I guess from the standpoint that you are good at this chicken dish,you don't have much money,right? 」
Sutherland：×「Don't eat anymore!」
○「Bingo! You are as sharp as a razor. Chicken is the cheapest ☆In fact,I eat chicken everyday! 」

純情きらりが マイブームの 中丸。ビートたけしのコマネチに つづく一発ギャグを考案し、Ｋａｔ−ｔｕｎ メンバーに 披露する。
自分のくり出した ギャグが 予想以上に メンバーに受けた 中丸雄一。
中丸雄一：「名古屋は ハッチョウ味噌！」（どんな ジェスチャーかは 想像して見てね）
ＫＡＴ−ＴＵＮ他：「ぎゃははははははは」
中丸雄一：「やったー。ウケた！ウケた。おれ メンバーのなかで ボケ担当目指そうっと」

森山直太朗と 御徒町凧が パーソナリティ。（タコじゃなくて、カイトと読んでね。)
J-WAVE、マイラジでの ひとこま。天丼。

１．４．「俯瞰する」:Overview
「Overview a situation you are in 」
Overview a situation you and your friends are in and point out coolly how the situation is funny from the third pespective.
I have never seen not Japanese people use this technique.I think this tech is very common only in Japan.However,this is the most useful tech of all the techs in "How to be funny"
My friend Tony said,"日本人は ギャグを言って、しーんとなったときに 笑うんだよね。これ アメリカ人には 理解できないよ。(Japanese always laugh when you toss off a rubbish gag and the atmosphere is gone bad.We American cannot understand this sense. "
cliches of "overview" are maybe the following phrases.
: "What a cold atmosphere! it's as cold as the refge"（さむいわぁー。マイナス３０度の世界やでぇ。）
,"It's chily,I am dead cold ."（さむぅーー 寒くて死にそうやぁー）
,"wow What a sound of silence! "（なに、この静けさは）
actually, I don't know what you say to overview a situation in your country.This often varies your culture and where you are from.

You:「OH NO! Why am I reading a book :such a trite title ,"How to be funny "！」

At "Psychology" which is a famaous TV show in Japan, today's guest is Tom Cruise.He came to Japan to promote his latest movie.
Yoko ONO：「Do you have any question about women？or you wanna ask about this to women?」
Tom ：「I have experienced a lot of sour things.」
Yoko：「What happend?」
Tom ：「(Cough) I was attacked with a ice pick by my ex-girlfriend.That was terrible.」
Youko：「Oh, you are kidding!」
Tom：「It's true.You wanna see my scar?（he touchs his right thigh ) I survived and managed to be alive through a war against women.It's been tough but I....... (he notices other members of this show,Rihanna and Mariah Carey are not into this story.He thinks if he continues to tell lies,the studio will be as cool as a Russian winter! and he remembers the technique,"Overview" !!!!! 」
Tom ：「Hey ! You three,why are you keeping silent?Ah I got it.You guys wanna cut what I said ! 」
例２．
「なに この空気。」という決まり文句を つかった技術。
「なに この○○」というのは 良く使われます。
特に 松本仁志師匠は、自分でギャグを言わざるを得ない状況になったとき、「ほら こんな 感じになるっていったやーーーーん！」ということで リスクヘッジします。
たとえば、HEYHEYHEY で ダウンタウンと 山P。山下智久のもちこみモノマネ企画。
「うわ なに この 沈黙。静かな湖畔やで」
「うわわわ。１００サムー 追加やでぇ」
と いろいろ 用意して、リスクヘッジしておいてください。
１．５．「深読みする」 : Over-read
「presume what your friend are thinking from his or her action 。」
From what his or her is doing,you point out what he or she is thinking,which he or she doesn't want to let you know.
Of cource,before you point out ,you have to let your friends tell that you are joking.Or your friends will get angry with you.
Ｅ．Ｇ．１
たったひとつの恋、収録終わりの出来事。(Right after shooting "Love only once in my life(Tatta hitotu no koi)",Kamenashi Kazuya from Kat-tun is trying to pick up Ayase Haruka)
亀梨和也：「おつかれさまでーす。あの綾瀬さん。この日は 絶対に 用があって ダメっていう日あります？」(.....aam,Haruka,why don't we go on a date?)
綾瀬はるか：「うーん。別にないですけど。」(Date? with you?)
亀：「じゃあ 今度の オフに 映画いっしょに どーすか？キミを愛してるとか」(I happeen to have a pair of Tickets,"How to be funny".Will you accompany with me?)
綾瀬：「（口調を真似して）今度の オフに 映画いっしょに どーすか？キミを愛してるとか。。ふふ。亀ちゃんって、いつも そうやって 女の子を口説くんでしょ。」(HAha-nn.You cannot have a pair of tickets,in that good timing.I bet you always use that trick.)
亀：「あは ばれちゃったのね」(Why do you know that?)
＊ 例が リアル過ぎました。普通に 深読みしてしまった。(That example seems too realistic?)

成田で 税関に止められるネプチューン名倉。
名倉：○「不法入国ちゃうて！おれ タイ人！んなわけないやろ！I am JAPANESE！」
○ 「いい仕事してますねー。このパスポート。偽造パスポートなんて いわれないとわかりませんね。って こらー。My wife is Marina WATANABE. 一世風靡シマシタ おちゃんこCLUBデ。」
１．６．「クロスカウンターする」:Cross-counter
「Say what you don't want to say without hesitation without a pause」
What you don't want say is something,shameful,taboo.
e.g.1.
Movie,"Ally McBeal" Episode 23.
Richard Fish's declaration of LOVE to Ally.
Richard: I love you! I've loved you for a long time.
Ally : Sorry ,but it's impossible.

映画。Ｔｏｋｙｏ Ｃｉｔｙ ｂｏｙｓで、
瑛太が 大塚愛に 愛の告白。
瑛太：「好きです。つきあってください」
大塚愛：「ごめんなさい」
瑛太：○「よっしゃーーーー。じゃあ、友達の 小林真央ちゃん 紹介して！ね☆ お願い。え、ダメ？じゃ 真央ちゃんがダメなら、お姉ちゃんの小林麻耶アナでもいい。お願い！」
×「そーか。うん。わかった。なんか ごめんね」

おしゃれイズム関係。今日のゲストは 宮藤官九郎。クドカンに興味津々の役者魂に火がついた藤木直人。

われらが香川絵馬 と 強豪トリニダード・君島十和子 との ガチンコ対決。
香川の監督である 役所広司オシムと香川絵馬、総支配人である生瀬勝久が 作戦会議をしている。
役所オシム：「おれの采配に任せておけ。この人気ブログランキングベスト２０に 入ったことのある おれにしか 考えられないような作戦で かならず おまえに ピストンカップを 持たせてやる。」
香川：「ほんとうに 大丈夫なの？そんなこといって、もし 負けたら、わたしは どの面下げて、日本に帰れって言うのよ」
役所オシム：「もし 負けたときは わたしが 全責任を取る。」
生瀬勝久ゼネラルマネージャー：「いや。キミは ただの 現場監督だ。明日の結果の全責任は ゼネラルマネージャー、つまり GMである このわたしが 引き受ける。」
役所オシム：「GM ！（にこり）」
香川絵馬：「じゃあ、明日の試合の作戦は？」

（そういって、ビデオを再生する役所。ビデオを 食い入るように見る 香川、生瀬、役所。）
役所オシム：「よし！アイデア募集」
香川：「これから 考えるのかーい！」
（（即レスポンスで つっこむという意味での、カウンターもあります。すいません。長い例で。有頂天ホテルを 見てて、このネタを 使いたくなっただけなんです。香川絵馬さんは こんなに タカピシャじゃないと 思われます。））

TOKIOの松岡昌宏と唐沢寿明の初対面のひとこま。サウナで 偶然、出会ってしまった二人。
松岡が 足を骨折してギブスを はめているにもかかわらず、サウナに入っている。唐沢は 外から 松岡の存在に気づき、サウナに入ってくる。
唐沢：×「あ どうも こんにちは」
松岡：×「あ どうも はじめまして。奇遇ですね。こんなところで」
唐沢：×「そうですね」
と 初対面だから 普通は こうなるが、ウケる技術をもっている唐沢教授は こうする。
（サウナの外から、ギブスをつけて入っている初対面の松岡を見つける唐沢。かけより おもいっきり ガッと ドアを開けて）
唐沢：○「 よお 松岡！どうしたんだ お前 その足は！？」
松岡：「いや ライブで 骨折しちゃいまして」
唐沢：「おまえも たいへんだな。いや おれもさ、昔は よく やんちゃしたもんだよ。おまえ 無理して やらされてるから 骨折なんかするんじゃねーの。今度 飯 食いに行こうよ。じゃあな」
松岡：「あ はい。さようなら」
初対面の挨拶もなしに、いいたいことだけを 言って すぐに サウナを出て行った 唐沢教授。まさに マシンガン。

江戸っ子のわたしも なかなか 使いこなせていない高等ウケる技術です。上忍のカカシ先生でも 難しいです。いろいろとパターンを 覚えて、ここぞというときに 使いましょう。

トリビアの泉で、感動した 「粋な切り返し」を参照。�△里曚Δ領磴任后�
福山雅治 と 鈴木えみが デートで 神宮前のおしゃレストランで食事。
注文し終えて、料理がでたときに、 ハプニング発生。
ウェイター：「鳥そぼろ で ございます。」
鈴木えみ：「うわー。おいしそうー。いただきまーす。えぇ。あら。もしかして、これ。髪の毛だよね。雅治も こんな髪の色してないし。どーしよー。とりかえてもらったほうがいいよね。」
福山雅治：「そーだな。すいましぇーん。」
ウェイター：（かけよるウェイター）「はい？」
福山雅治：「あのぉー。これ見ていただけます？宝くじのあたりが 入ってるみたいやねんけど。」
ウェイター：「ああ。まことに申し訳ございません。すぐに 新しいものと お取替えします。」
福山：「じゃあ、気持ち多めに おねがいしますね。多めに」
粋です。江戸っ子です。恐縮しているウェイターさんへの気配り。そして、店の雰囲気を 壊さないように、「髪の毛が入っていた」という言葉をいわない配慮。
完璧です。
一方、×「ちょっと 髪の毛が 入ってるんですけど、とりかえてもらえます？」
×「どうしてくれるんや！ もうちょっとで 髪の毛のダシのとれた 鳥そぼろ 食わされるところやったで！」
など ふつー に 責めるのも、おもいっきり非難するのも NGです。
例２．

１．８．「悪い空気を共感する」:Share a bad mood with your counterpart.
If you and your friend are in a bad mood,you feel unconfortable,and your friend too.
To break the atmosphere,you overview it and make the bad one into laughter.
The point is that you observe your friend so carefully that you are sure to recognize that your friend feel the same way as you do.
e.g.1.
George Lucas and Steven Spielberg are fighting a duel for the sake of Jannifer Aninston near the Hadson river.
Lucas: Jannifer is mine!!!!
Spielberg:No! She is MINE!!!!
Jannifer:Stop it !
Lucas:Take this!! ( Lucas's straight punch hit Steven's right cheek)
Steven:(Spit)Hu,you have a good one.(Steven's right hook hit George's left stomack)
George:Goghhhhhhh.You too.Uh ohhhhhhh.
The duel continues for more than one hour. Both of them are worn out.
Geoge:(Cough)Oh,men.What a dirty face,you look so funny.
Steven:And YOU look funnier now than ever before.Hahaha,hey,Geoge what purpose have we fought for?
Geoge:Yeah,what for? I don't know.
Both of them lie on the grass and look at the ruminate sky and cannot help laughing.
They stand up and shake hands with each other with a smile ,and satisfaction.
In this way,Geoge and Steven have became the best friends without realizing Jennifer is still waiting for when they finish the duel.
坂口憲二と伊藤英明が 蛯原友里を とりあって 荒川の河川敷で 決闘している。
坂口：「えびちゃんは 渡さねーぜ」
伊藤：「それは こっちのセリフだ」
エビ：「ふたりとも やめてぇー」
坂口：「これでもくらえ （右ストレートパンチが 伊藤の 頬を直撃）ばし！」

坂口：「なー。おれたち、こんな 鼻血だらだらになるまで 殴り合って なにやってんだろーな？」
伊藤：「あー。ほんとだぜ。まったく。へへ 」
そういうと 仰向けに 寝っころがって、笑いだす二人。
そして、がっちり固い握手。
こうして 二人は 厚い友情で 結ばれたのだった。えびちゃんを忘れて。
例２．
パーティで 声をかけた小西真奈美と なかなか 打ち解けられない 小泉孝太郎。
小泉：「もと総理大臣の息子が 声かけてきやがったと 思ってるだろうけど、
変人なのは、オヤジだけだから。おれは いたって ふつうだから 安心してね。」

やる気のないそぶりを見せた生徒の西岡康夫くんを 思いっきり怒る教師の西きょうじ先

それを 冷静に見つめるクラスの生徒の亀田和久くんと為近和彦くん。

為近和彦：「そうそう。別にほっとけばいいのにさ。あそこまで きれることないのになー。最近の子供は きれると 怖いからねー。なにしでかすか わかったもんじゃないよ。」
（たしか、きれやすい先生のエピソードは 実話です。おお怖い。）
１．９．「相手の期待に同調する」 (Follow Expectation)
You read what a perosn you are talking to is thinking,or expecting you,and follow his or her expectation.
e.g.1.
After a big hit drama,"Prison Break" was over,Some paparachi said Paris Hilton and Johnny Depp were havinv a love affair.
But,6 months later,after all,they broke up because of his wife and children.Johnny breaks his heart.
Orland Bloom：「How's it going with Paris these days?。」
Depp：「Nothing special 。」
Orland：「Haha,You have probabley been jilted by her!!!」
Depp：×「No! I have not! It was I who jilted her.」
○「As a matter of fact,I' ve totally been jileted.Oh my heart hurts.(ToT)/~~~」
例２．
山田孝之と矢田亜希子がデズネーランドでデート。
山田は どうしても ビックサンダーマウンテンを乗車拒否。
山田：×「ほら。人気のアトラクションって 混んでるからさ。すいてる方がいいじゃん」
○「おれ、自慢じゃないけど、 落ちるやつ 全部、ムリだから！ 失禁します。確実に。落ちた瞬間 しゃーーーーだぜ。おしっこくさいやつと 一緒に歩きたくないっしょ。」
（なるべく「しゃーーー」と言ったときは、ビジュアル化してください。ジェスチャーを交えて、大 げさに言うことで相手も笑いやすくなります。しゃーーーーーのビジュアルはたとえば、「股をひろげて踏ん張る山田。あごを少し上にあげて、まゆげを富士山 にしながら、手をグーからパーに広げることで、ほとばしる小水を手で表現する山田。」）

ウケる技術の記事に アクセス数を 稼いでもらっているNDT hikaru。毎日、２つ以上、例を 増やしているが、読者の ネガティブな期待に 同調する木村。
読者代表GYM：「ほんとは もう ネタ切れなんじゃないの？｣
木村拓哉ノエル：「・・・う、うん、正直ね。｣
実際には、ネタ切れじゃなくても、うけるためなら うそを つくのも ありです。
例４．
石塚英彦こと ホンジャマカの石ちゃんの期待同調系、ひとことネタ。
メレンゲの気持ち。通りの達人。
石塚：「みなさん、こんにちは。黒豚です。今日は、たまプラーザにきています。」
ちなみに、プラーザはスペイン語で 広場の意味らしい。
